Parking Enforcement & Clamping | Dublin | 20 Hours Per Week
A flexible part-time opportunity
We are looking for reliable and confident Part-Time Traffic Controllers to join our parking enforcement operation across the Dublin region. This is a practical, public facing role suited to someone looking for 20 hours of work per week while still wanting a role with responsibility, variety and professional training.
Working as part of an established enforcement team, you will help maintain parking compliance across designated areas of Dublin. Your duties will include monitoring parking, issuing Fixed Charge Notices and carrying out vehicle clamping and release procedures in line with legislation and company guidelines.
What you'll be doing
- Patrolling designated areas and monitoring parking compliance.
- Identifying parking offences and taking appropriate enforcement action.
- Issuing Fixed Charge Notices where required.
- Carrying out vehicle clamping and clamp-release procedures in accordance with approved processes.
- Using handheld devices to record activity and capture photographic evidence.
- Providing clear and professional information to motorists about parking restrictions and enforcement decisions.
- Responding calmly and professionally to questions, complaints and challenging situations.
- Reporting incidents or unusual circumstances to your supervisor.
- Completing accurate records and following company procedures.

Who would suit this role?
We are looking for people who are dependable, approachable and comfortable working independently. You will need to communicate confidently with members of the public while remaining professional, even when dealing with difficult or challenging situations.
Previous experience in customer service, security, transport, retail, parking enforcement or another public-facing environment would be useful, but full training will be provided and previous clamping experience is not required.
You should have:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional and customer-focused approach.
- The confidence to deal with members of the public.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures.
- The ability to work independently while also being part of a team.
- Basic confidence using smartphones or handheld devices.
- A full, clean driving licence with at least five years' driving experience.
- A willingness to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
- The flexibility to work the agreed part-time shift pattern.
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Training & Hours
You will receive two weeks' full training covering parking enforcement, clamping procedures, equipment and operational requirements.
Hours: 20 hours per week.
The exact shift pattern is currently being finalised, but flexibility across the operational week will be required. The role is primarily field based and involves working outdoors across designated areas of Dublin City.
